Après la confirmation de la présence de l’EPO dans l’échantillon d’analyse de son coursier, Gameloft, l’entraîneur Shirish Narang condamne sans réserve l’utilisation de produits dopants. Il a émis un communiqué mercredi, dans lequel il réitère la promesse de collaborer pleinement avec les autorités.
« Shirish Narang [SN] stable is fully supportive of the action initiated by the Mauritius Turf Club regarding the usage of an illicit substance on Gameloft as confirmed through the preliminary findings on Sample A of the said horse. SN stable believes in clean racing and horse welfare. To this effect, we totally condemn the usage of such illicit substances on our horses. I wish to reinforce our collaboration with the Mauritius Turf Club, the Police des Jeux and to any other relevant organisations in this master », peut-on lire dans le communiqué.
