Les entraîneurs ont procédé à plusieurs changements d’équipements sur leurs partants pour les deux prochaines.
Tyrandeus, auteur d’une belle fin de course derrière Good Buddy, avait beaucoup versé à l'intérieur. Shirish Narang a décidé de corriger ce défaut à travers l'utilisation d'un pricker. Artax, aligné dans la première course, aura un tongue bit cette fois. Favori battu lors de sa deuxième sortie, Manetheren portera un hood et un drop. Il délaisse le nose band.
Overshadow, engagé dans l’épreuve principale, portera des oeillères. Promisory et Tower of Wisdom ont délaissé leurs oeillères cette fois. Tower of Wisdom aura des side winkers.
