Ramoly s'est exprimé au micro de Julio Santerelli (The Races WA) après avoir reçu sa statuette, "First of all, I would like to thank all for it. I didn't realize half way of the season that I was leading.I was just trying to improve myself and having fun riding. I would like to thank my two coaches, my boss Mr Parnham, the boys, Stevie, Chris and all the jockeys in the lockroom. Anytime we would ask them something, they would be happy to help us. Basically, I am a shy person. Seeing people support me, cheer for me, it’s something different. I stayed longer here due to Covid, but it helped me to improve more. I wouldn't mind going back to Mauritius for holidays."
"It's a fantastic achievement. Not only for WA but for Mauritius also. This Phiproject we've been working on for nearly 6 years now. Brandon Louis was our first apprentice. Then I've identified Lucky and Keshaw. They have done us proud. To see Lucky win the premiership, we've been very proud. He was touted by Philippe Henry. The latter is a multiple-winning title trainer and probably a legend of Mauritius racing. Phillippe actually spoke to me one day at Floreal telling me to watch this boy he has some ability. After watching him at trackwork, how he was handling, he proved to me he was well above average ability. So here we are. He has done more than I thought he would. We got a few riders there (Mauritius) we could take but with all it's going, the covid, let's see what happen."
